Patrick Phelps is a West Coaster through and through. We remember him from the Journalism class of 2012 as a young man full of enthusiasm and passion with a great love for the environment and the outdoors. Today he works for as Manager for Minerals West Coast, advocating for the mining industry.
Patrick came to B-School from Westland High School Hokitika, then graduated into an internship at RNZ in 2014 before moving into a comms role at Silver Fern Farms, then as a tour guide for a while.
Then, as he explained to NZBS Head Tony Simons, he applied for and won a Prime Minister's Scholarship and headed to China.
