After 4 years in the industry, Hunter is a freelance camera operator for production companies across Auckland. In that time, his projects have taken him to Italy, Brazil, Australia, USA and the UK. Most of Hunter's work has been with Attitude Pictures filming documentaries following people living with disabilities and chronic health issues.
He is a trained drone camera operator, working on commercials and television dramas that have aired across the world. In 2018, Hunter received two New Zealand Cinematographers Society awards in recognition of his work.
