Clarke Gayford was recently described (in a Spinoff article) as New Zealand's best-known fisherman.
He also happens to be partner and fiance to New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, father to Neve and (less well-known fact) a proud graduate of the New Zealand Broadcasting School [Class of 1997].
He shared his media story with NZBS Head, Tony Simons starting with his search for direction while at school. He came to Ara after time spent at Lytton High School in Gisborne, then boarding at Palmy Boys and Otago University.
