Kia ora,

My name is Patrick Struthers, I am 27 years old,

My journey into the music/media industry began in 2014. I enrolled and graduated from MAINZ (now SIT) here in Christchurch. Gaining a certificate with distinction in DJ and electronic music production, as well as being awarded “most diligent student”.

I am active in playing events and gigs as a DJ as a passionate hobby of mine. I was invited to host a Saturday breakfast show on the local radio station “Pulzar FM” in late 2018. “Saturday Brunch” was a magazine-style show broadcast from 9am until noon. I hosted this show until mid-2021. I currently host a weekly show on Pulzar FM titled “Tuesday Rollers”. Furthermore, I have been the DJ and Host of this show for almost 3 years. For archiving purposes, I edit and upload all of my shows to Mixcloud weekly.

I applied and was accepted into The New Zealand Broadcasting School, to begin in 2021 and plan to graduate and work my way into the industry. My true passion lies in audio production, and this is ultimately where I would like to see myself working and furthering my existing knowledge.
