Haere Mai!
My name is Jen Black and I'm a second-year journalism student at the New Zealand Broadcasting School.
I enjoy having the privilege of telling stories and crafting content from the community to a wider audience. I've always been drawn to politics as decisions made by the government impact everyone from a systemic level. I think it's important that we have journalists to break down the political jargon for the public and make politics more accessible.
In an essence, people-centred issues are what I enjoy covering. Enjoy having a read, listen, and watch to work I've done over my time at the New Zealand Broadcasting School.
