Ella Smith

Heya!

If I have done everything correctly you should be able to see that my name is Ella and I am the best second-year radio student a tutor could ask for! (Unfortunately, no factual evidence can be provided)

I was 'Producer Ella' on Night Club with Luke from 6-8pm and was a part of the promotions team for our 2022 station Rewind 96.1.

When I first applied to the broadcasting school I had my heart set on being a producer for any of the amazing breakfast shows NZ radio has to offer. Throughout my time studying radio I have learnt so much about myself and how not only do I enjoy being a producer but also promotions is something that I am super passionate about!

I enjoyed promotions so much that I decided to get a casual job so I could start from the bottom and gather a better appreciation and understanding of promotions as a whole. By starting at the bottom of the food chain I understand from both perspectives the nuts and bolts of promotions.

Through doing promotional work for MediaWorks, Rewind and being a producer I have further developed my organisational skills, time management, communication and problem-solving abilities.

If you can see my name and stream, then that also means you can see my contact details ;)

Give me a buzz because I would love to chat more!
