Hi! I'm Elizabeth Thomson.
As a young journalist in 2019, it is my goal to learn as much as I can from the world around me. I think it is so important to step out of your comfort zone and hear from people who may not have a voice in media. I learnt this lesson during the aftermath of the Christchurch shooting while working for TIME magazine.
I believe in the importance of technology. Pushing the envelope in what is considered 'okay' for media. I want stories to be interactive and immersive so that there is no room for 'fake news'.
I am incredibly driven and I will do whatever it takes to learn and grow so I can be the best I can and I will work hard no matter the situation.
